Strategic Sourcing & Commodity Management
- Commercial Drivers: Drive the end-to-end sourcing process for assigned commodities with a primary focus on Price, Vendor selection, Lead time, and Capacity.
- Cost Engineering: Conduct rigorous cost-breakdown analyses and price benchmarking to achieve cost-down initiatives and optimize the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO).
- Capacity & Risk: Monitor and verify vendor manufacturing capacities to ensure alignment with production load-leveling and growth forecasts.
Vendor Performance & Governance
- Performance Ownership: Monitor and drive vendor performance metrics, specifically focusing on Quality, On-Time Delivery (OTO), and responsiveness.
- Vendor Qualification: Identify and onboard new vendors, ensuring they meet the technical and physical infrastructure standards required for semiconductor equipment.
Stakeholder Integration & Execution Alignment
- Transactional Enablement: Work closely with the Buyer team and all related supply chain stakeholders to ensure sourcing strategies are executable on a transactional level.
- Master Data Integrity: Maintain the accuracy of “Sourcing Master Data” (Price, LT, Vendor codes) to ensure seamless PR-to-PO conversion by the Buyer.
- Interface Management: Act as the escalation point for the Buyer team when vendor-related bottlenecks exceed routine transactional limits.

Professional Experience
- Education: Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related technical field.
- Tenure: 1 to 2 years of experience in sourcing or category management, ideally within the semiconductor or high-tech equipment manufacturing sector.
- Entry-Level Provision: Fresh Graduates are welcome to apply, provided they demonstrate a strong analytical foundation and an earnest willingness to learn the complexities of technical sourcing.
Analytical Logic
- Data Synthesis: Ability to analyze spend data, lead times, and capacity models to identify systemic trends or supply risks.
- Visualization: Proficient in using data visualization tools to transform raw metrics into actionable supply chain insights.
Technical Literacy
- Specification Interpretation: Ability to interpret (or a high aptitude for learning) technical specifications and engineering drawings.
- Capability Alignment: Ensuring vendor manufacturing capabilities physically align with the technical requirements of the product.
